The owner says..."The curious "pine coffin"( blanket chest) in the upstairs living area, was never really a coffin. It is a prop from the movie "The Cider House Rules" used as Dr. Larch's coffin. Michael Caine was Dr. Larch. My son also played a role in the movie. Enjoy.
